Book Review:

Wrangled and Tangled is my favorite book of Loreli JamesBlack Top Cowboys series. The characters are well developed and likable, making you root for them throughout their journeys. Especially during the sex scenes, which were steamy enough to make me considered moving to Wyoming to get myself a cowboy.

Sexual tension is allowed to build between each couple. Which makes you say, “about damn time” when they finally get together instead of the whiplash you get from most erotic novels. Where the main characters look at each other twice, confess undying love, and then bang like rabbits, despite having just met a page beforehand.

James does a great job showing the issues that lead to Janie and Abe’s divorce and how now older and wiser, they could make a relationship work again. Renner and Tierney’s opposites attract trope of the rugged cowboy and rich city girl is freshened up by having each of them not actually be the stereotype the other thinks they are.

If the cowboys and hot sex don’t win you over, then the kind and supportive community James’ created in the town of Muddy Gap surely will. —Buy it!
